Attingham Park, Shropshire
4th Most Visited of the National Trust Properties

The grade I neoclassical house was designed for politician Lord Berwick by George Steuart in the 1780s. Attingham sits at the heart of an expansive Repton landscape of 270 ha and was built and laid out on the proceeds of the East India Company. The river Tern runs through the centre of the estate that includes extensive woodlands, a deer park, walled gardens and an orchard. The famous Italianate villa of Cronkhill which is part of the Attingham Estate – and is located nearby – was designed by John Nash for the 2nd Lord Berwick.

Attingham Park in Shropshire has attracted 371,905 visitors last year.
